Fibro Feelings – A few Treasures
Ahhh…that is how I feel after a late afternoon/early evening of pedicures and dinner with one of my girl friends. My friend had a crazy schedule around her birthday so we were just getting the chance to really celebrate, a little belated. It’s always nice when we have time to fully catch up, relax and talk about random things. We went to a restaurant that has dealt well with my soy sensitivity the last time I went and it went well again. After we shared an appetizer I had one of the best salads I’ve had in awhile.
Most of my week was filled with doing loads of laundry here and there. I now have almost all the baby items washed and folded. I’ve also finally figured out our crib situation. For years I’d always planned on getting a drop-side crib to make it easier on my back when getting my baby in and out. Now that they’ve been deemed unsafe/illegal I had to find a new solution. I ended up finding single drop gate/folding side cribs. On these new types of cribs the top 6-8 inches of one side fold down to make it just a little easier to use. Unfortunately, there aren’t many companies selling these types of cribs and the company I’ve been dealing with has been a huge hassle.
I also finished putting my Halloween decorations away and decorated for fall. I don’t have a lot of fall items, but I need to dry a few mini gourds out. Let me know if you have any tips for doing that. While looking through my cake decorating supplies in a top cabinet I rarely use I found a pill cutter that I had lost a long time ago. It was so long ago that I had given up looking for the pill cutter years ago! I should probably throw those old frosting and gels out that were with it.
What’s the oddest place you’ve misplaced something?
