Fibro Feelings – Head to Toe
About a week after my feet flared up I had them feeling almost back to normal again. Then, I ran errands for three hours and made them worse again. I also stood straight for a long time while trying to alter the length of a few dresses that I have. My feet are not as bad as they were, but I’m definitely hoping to rest them even more the next few days. I’ve been making sure I wear my slippers with my fleece socks when I’m around the house, as their added support can help.
Earlier today I was coming back from taking out of town guests to the airport, at a time I’m not usually awake at. Although I was starting to get a headache I decided to stop at a fancier pet store and try to pick up a cat food treat for Squeaky. I decided to look around at their bunnies, birds and fish. I accidentally spotted their taranchulas and quickly walked away. In their fish tanks I saw a gorgeous purple fish that I’d never seen before. It was a purple dottyback that was beautifully vivid. I decided that maybe I should take a look around there at least once a year. It’s a fun, free activity that I rarely do.
I was having less congestion headaches, but I’ve still had two in the last week or so. In my quest to find spicy, but not too spicy, congestion clearing food I stumbled upon something. It’s the Whole Foods 365 bean, rice and cheese burrito. It’s at the edge of my spicy threshold, makes my nose run and slightly improves my congestion headache. I’ve only tried it while having a headache once, so I’ll try it a few more times before making a final decision. Some of the other items I’ve tried during my quest were cinnamon bears and Hot Tamales. Neither of them were spicy enough to do much. I haven’t been able to find cinnamon disks that don’t contain soy or red hots that are made with actual cinnamon.
Do you ever walk through a pet store, just for fun?
