Fibro Feelings – Open Schedule!

What is Fibro Feelings?

I was SO excited when I looked at my calendar and realized that I did not have anything scheduled February 4th-13th! I cannot even remember the last time I didn’t have one thing scheduled for that many days! Seeing this gave me a renewed sense of energy that I used to catch up on all those little things that I’d prioritized lower, but had been building up in the back of my mind.

I caught up on all my photo editing, did laundry, called my parents back, contacted more businesses about my local Arthritis Walk, caught up on most of my blog reading, put away party items, read half of Understanding and Managing Fibromyalgia Syndrome from John Hopkins Medicine, changed my computer desktop background, tried ordering my groceries online for the first time, cooked a new recipe, figured out why my a prescription refill hadn’t been getting filled at the pharmacy and *gasp* even went shopping! For the first time, since June I felt completely caught up and boy did does it feel great!

Of course, I also celebrated Valentine’s Day with The Helpful Hubby too! Friday he brought me a gorgeous bouquet home and it is still looking lively. Saturday afternoon I made us a blueberry pancake and maple sausage brunch to keep things going. Later we dropped by a friend’s “bad movie” party and then went out to dinner at The Helpful Hubby’s restaurant pick. He loves Asian food, but I can only enjoy it so often, so, he picked a Taiwanese restaurant we’d never been to. The next evening we went to a more romantic dinner at another new-to-us restaurant and we ate entirely too much! Monday we did a small gift/card exchange as well. By spacing out all the activities for a Valentine’s weekend it made it easier for me to feel well and have plenty of energy to enjoy every moment. I’m so lucky to have The Helpful Hubby as my forever valentine and I want to make sure to celebrate it!

How was your Valentine’s Day?
