Fibro Feelings – Mini flare-up Follow-up

What is Fibro Feelings?

It had been quite awhile since The Helpful Hubby and I had gone to the movies, but we went to see “Alice in Wonderland” this weekend. I really wanted to see it in 3D, although the 3D wasn’t so great in my opinion. I loved Johnny Depp’s makeup and found myself staring at it multiple times! (and no, I’m not one of those ladies obsessed with Johnny Depp.) I was happy that I was able to sit through the movie without having bad back pain, which has happened all too many times before.

I was feeling pretty good throughout the weekend and had gone back to wearing my soft wrist brace. I was happy to catch up on washing dishes and start the laundry, but knew I was still too tender to vacuum. Well, I guess between cooking and washing dishes I managed to stress out my wrist again. I’m back to wearing the hard brace.

Today I also decided to ride the recumbent bike for 40 minutes. This was fine for my wrist, but my back and neck are now hurting. Dang-it! Looks like I need to baby my wrist a little more this week; I’ll be taking a mountain biking class soon! The other thing I did today that I’m excited about is that I planted some basil seeds in an indoor pot. I have never tried to grow basil before, but I hope it grows into wonderfully scented, tasty herbs. I absolutely love the smell of fresh basil and really enjoy its flavor.
