Fibro Feelings – Stuck for the Holidays
Stuck…
I’m a little nervous because I’m anxiously awaiting how I’ll feel the rest of this week. Recently new guidelines were released for Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccinations for those who are pregnant and I ended up needing to get it again. Around three years ago I got my booster vaccination and felt horrible for the good part of a week. I had chills, horrible headaches, fatigue, nausea and extreme pain and swelling at my injection site. Of course, a lot of those symptoms are ones that people rarely have, wasn’t I lucky?! hehe. *Fingers crossed* that somehow I make it through feeling MUCH better this time around!
…for the holidays
I’ve been really trying to focus on getting some Christmas gifts or least ideas. I can’t believe it’s already been nearly a month since I wrote about Christmas being two months away! I really want to take advantage of the online Cyber Monday/Black Friday deals for sales and shipping, so I need to figure out more of them. I was looking through Oprah’s Favorite Things list in a magazine at my Obgyn’s office today, but didn’t get all the way through it. I like those types of lists, like the one in Real Simple magazine, for original gift ideas.
I’ve been contemplating putting our Christmas tree up early this year – like in this last part of November. There are just so many baby things going on that it might be easier to just get that process outta the way. I love having the tree up, but the process of acquiring a live tree and getting all the decorations out and on the tree takes up a fair amount of time and energy. I will not put the outside Christmas lights up until December though. I love Christmas lights almost as much as I love fireworks, but these I prefer to see only in December.
Have you ever reacted to the Tdap vaccination?
