Fibro Feelings – Catching Up
I hope all of you had a wonderful Father’s Day, especially if you’re a dad living with fibromyalgia! We talked on the phone to my dad and my father-in-law. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my dad’s gift mailed to him in time. I had a great idea two weeks ago, but making decisions on some of the specifics kept me from being able to order it. Feeling not-so-great while trying to make those decisions certainly didn’t speed things up either. I feel badly, but at least I got his card to him on time!
One thing I did finally accomplish was figuring out which photos I wanted in my picture frames for winter and spring. I’ve still got my fall ones up and although I know it is time to switch to my summer ones, I’m at least going to get these edited and printed before switching to my summer layout. I store the photos in the frame, so each season I just have to switch which one is on top. Once I get these two new sets of photos finished I’ll finally be done with this project! I can’t remember when I started it, but it has been over a year since I put the frames on the wall.
I got to meet with a close friend that I haven’t seen in over a month. Last time we saw each other it was just for a quick break during a workday. We spent two hours having happy hour/dinner at a tasty restaurant while completely catching up. Girl time feels so good when you haven’t had it in awhile! We’ve both been through quite a lot in the past year and as I was thinking about our conversation I realized it could be straight out of a tv show. Maybe even a soap opera! There hasn’t necessarily been much “drama” happening, but you wouldn’t think two people would have gone through all the things the two of us have in just one year.
What have you been catching up on lately?
