Compression Wear Giveaway & Review!
THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ALREADY ENDED!
I’ve been trying out Tommie Copper compression wear and I really like them! I sometimes get swelling in my legs, but wearing the Calf Compression Sleeve makes my legs feel more comfortable when they’re swollen. The Calf Compression Sleeve, like all of the products I’ll discuss, are made of a really thin material that is lightweight. The material is thinner than most socks, so you can’t even tell you’re wearing them through clothing. They provide just the slightest amount of pressure, but like I said, it makes my swollen legs feel more comfortable. I also wear these anytime I travel via airplane to reduce swelling.
As you know, I have a tendency to sprain my ankle. After my most recent sprain I first wrapped my ankle, then, as it healed, I switched to my Ace ankle brace and finally switched to the Ankle Compression Sleeve. One of the things I love about this product was that it didn’t stretch out my socks if I wore it underneath them or stretch out my dress shoes if I wore it with them. It was comfortable enough to sleep with it on, which my Ace ankle brace isn’t. I found it perfect for the end of ankle sprain healing because it provided just a bit of support for me when I was nervous to go without a brace, but didn’t feel like I needed the stronger support of other braces/wraps.
All their products are made in the USA, which is an oddity now days! They were created by Tom Kallish after many surgeries that left him with horrid arthritic pain. Some of the other products they make are knee compression sleeves, elbow compression sleeves, fingerless compression gloves and compression shirts. Compression has been shown to increase blood flow and reduce muscle oscillation and impact on joints. Helping you during motion, but also afterward as well.
Luckily, my fingers haven’t been aching enough days straight to really test the Full Finger Compression Gloves yet. I plan on using these when there are pressure changes that cause my hands to really ache and bending the joints hurts. The size I ordered fits perfectly – better than most regular gloves that I buy. Stay tuned for more on my experience with them, after I’ve used them more. But, if you’re lucky you won’t have to wait because you could win my giveaway and try them (or the ankle or calf compression sleeve) yourself!
