Fibro Feelings – Love!
What a week! There have been highs and lows. One of the highs was finally getting to celebrate The Helpful Hubby and I’s wedding anniversary. Due to multiple things we hadn’t been able to celebrate it right on our anniversary. We got all dolled up and headed to a nearby city to have dinner at a fancy restaurant. It was our first time going to this restaurant and we loved it – from the food to the service. The next afternoon we had lunch at another great spot, this time more casual, and checked out a local market. Although the forecast had originally called for rain, it ended up being very pleasant with the sun poking out.
Just last week I got to talk to one of my good, high school friends who had given birth a few weeks prior. It was great to see the love she has for her first child and get to hear all the stories of the day she gave birth. I can’t wait to meet her bundle of joy. For now, Facebook pictures will have to suffice. Then, this week I found out that one of my other good friends is pregnant with her first child! She was overjoyed as she told the stories of how she told her parents and other family members.
Sadly, I also found out that one of my friends went through a very tragic, life-changing event. I won’t get into those details, but I am so proud of her for how she is handling it. I’m happy that she has a greatly supportive boyfriend by her side, as well as family. As she shared her experience with me I hope that she felt the abundance of love that I have for her.
How have you experienced love lately?
