Fibro Feelings – Comfy Halloween Fun!

What is Fibro Feelings?

I hope your Halloween was filled with lots of treats and not many tricks! This year I went to a party on Saturday night wearing yet another one of my comfy costumes. @ohwhatthefog pointed me towards my costume idea this year. I went as a “ceiling fan.” I dressed as a sports fan: had mini “We’re #1″ foam fingers, painted my finger nails the team colors, had a small pom pom, cheered and pinned a sign that said CEILING over the chest of my hoodie. LOL! So corny, but also something comfy (I wore jeans and tennis shoes) and almost 80% of the people at the party guessed it! If I had some team colored face paint I would’ve added that as well.

I had a lot of fun at the party, saw some great costumes, met some new people, caught up with friends, ate a delicious chocolate ganache cupcake and drank some splendid punch out of a smoking cauldron! Most of my Halloween day was spent sleeping and resting up from six hours of having fun the night before! That night I did not dress up, but I did put on some fancy eye makeup and wore black and orange. I handed out glow-in-the-dark bracelets and candy to all the kiddos.

I thought I’d take a moment to share a few of my comfy costumes from years past:
Punky Brewster – I wore a zip up, sleeveless jacket, all sorts of mis-matched colors, rolled 1 jeans pant leg up, tied a bandanna around 1 leg, had different colored tennis shoe laces an socks on, put freckles on my face, wore pigtails with sunshine hair ties on them.
Chef - I wore a chef coat, checkered pants, black clogs, poofy chef hat, had a thermometer and pen in my chef coat pocket. You could use a hair net if you don’t want to use a chef hat.
An Iron Chef - Same as above costume excpet that I took black electrical tape and wrote out “Fe” in a box (like the element Iron from the periodic table of elements) huge across the back of my chef coat. I also made a small one on my pocket. I’ve also seen versions where someone carried an actual clothes iron, but that would be WAY to heavy for my wrists to handle all night!

What are some of your favorite comfy costumes?
